Can you really cross rank coaches from different sports?

Jones hasnt finished one season. unfair to rank him.

Since winning championships is all that matters, Bertman wins in a landslide.

1A. - The guy that didn't step up to the plate and offer Saban enough money to keep him at LSU.
1B. - The guy that spurned 1A's offer, then took Huizenga's money and ran off to Miami on Christmas Eve.

3. - Mr. Creative and Innovative Offense in football.

4. - Charlie NcClendon

5. - Dale Brown

6. - Paul Mainieri. Just based on the National Championship. Needs to say Adios Amigo to the BBQ King though and hire a legitinate hitting coach. This is the baseball equivilent to #3 and the Offense/Offensive Coordinator situation. Stubborness personified.

I love Skip, but he has only coached 2 seasons since 2000. Also, are we considering just their time at LSU?

Mainieri
Smoke
Johnson

Come on man. You know Jones is better than the last two of your list, you have to put him in front of Johnson. And cross-referencing the coaches is how I read it so here's my meaningless lest:

Saban (based on performance since he left)
Bertman
Mairineri
Miles
Johnson
Brady
Johnson
Smoke

Caveat is I'm not a baseball fan and only watch them when they're in the World Series so I knoe much less about those teams.
