Nope.

Well damn...I thought having more sellers meant being able to bargain

There will be many more buyers than sellers

Unfortunately with all this hoopla there will be more buyers also.

There will be a wide variety of swords and throwing stars there.

No. You will get ripped off. Everything will be overpriced.
That said, I'll probably be there selling PMags and possibly a gun or two.

Jim's has actually not raised their prices on the stuff they have left. I actually got a good deal on an AAC 300 blk out upper today.

Guns shows have sucked for years. You will not get any deals.

I screwed up and got there early because I had the time it started wrong. 1 hr and 15 min early and there was already 100+ people in line ahead of me. People that got there about the start time had to wait close to 2 hrs to get in, not to mention the show overall sucked. Very small, Very expensive, very crowded.

It's pretty rare to get a deal at a gun show and has been for quite a while (meaning several years)

Before the gun craze? sure. Now? Probably a 30%-50% markup on everything b/c price doesn't matter to most people buying

Yeah, several years ago I was under the impression that you could find good deals at gun shows, but that's not the case anymore. I bought my AR in 2008 and the only reason I lucked out was because they had a private seller there that made me a great deal. Most of the dealers won't budge at all.
Sometimes you might be able to get a decent trade, but I don't think I'll be attending any gun shows in the near future.
