Academy is supposed to stock up on ammo overnight for tomorrow.

At least here in Lafayette. The guy at the gun counter said they had inventory Monday and Tuesday and should be fully stocked when they open on Wednesday. I plan on being there when they open at 8:00.

I have the same question. Is this just in response to the proposed bill on background checks for ammo?
I remember this shite happened when Obama first took office, ammo in Houston was sky high and not widely available. I was fooled once and still have more than enough of that ammo today

GIF of the year! Seriously though, I drove all over town to find 9MM ammo to shoot last Saturday. Both Academy's, Wal-Mart, local Gun Shops were all out. Finally found some at Lafayette Shooters.

I'm not concerned with a ban or anything like that. Problem for me is, i dont keep 5000 rounds in stock, and i like to shoot. Therefore 1-2 range trips, and i'm looking for a re-supply. With all these other idiots freaking out, it makes it tough on everyone else.

That whole thing is so foriegn to me. I was given 6 shells and told to bring home 8 squirrels. Shoot at something I am not going to eat? Ida gotten a whoopin'.

No. But it's easy to go through2-300. Normally just get a few boxes everytime I go to academy.

I used to shoot IDPA events on the weekend. If you had less than 300 rounds, you may not be able to shoot all stages.

Academy never has a good selection of ammo IMO. At least the one in Hammond never has.
