@richarddeitsch: Wow. ESPN just issued an apology regarding Brent Musburger's comments about Katherine Webb

quote:

Have been asked on focus on @_KatherineWebb in BCS: We always try to capture interesting storylines and the relationship between an Auburn grad who is Miss Alabama and the current Alabama quarterback certainly met that test. However, we apologize that the commentary in this instance went too far and Brent understands that.

Musburger is just as senile as Lou, Lee, or Verne. The only difference is that he colors his hair.

ESPN should be issuing an apology for continuing to allow an inferior broadcast team to keep calling the NC. Mushberger is 15 years past his prime and incapable of a decent broadcast.

No apology needed if Nessler and Blackledge are calling that game like they deserve to be.

ESPN should apologize for making ND their darling little Cinderella story and throwing them to the wolves that is the Alabama Crimson Tide.

I barely even watched the game and they showed her after every other Bama offensive play. It was pretty creepy but mostly annoying.

It's not the first time he's commented on about a girl. ESPN didn't issue an apology for this

He kept going on and on. One comment was enough. No need to listen to an old creepster fantasize on live TV

It was awkward and creepy but not worth an apology

Saying the QBs get all the beautiful women? That was fine. When he started talking about throwing the football around the yard if you're a young kid so you can get a hot girlfriend, that was a little bit extreme.
