You can hunt there - north end of it. It is not worth it right now...long hike in, will be checked by green jeans and the only thing flying are the wood ducks.
Park at the first hunting parking area....drag a yak down the powerline....put yak in bayou....paddle north....two blinds in bayou....hunt....kill....when mallards are flying they drop in there. Also, if no yak, put waders over shoulder after parking in most north public spot on 165 side, hike the north 4 wheeler trail, take first major trail to the right, go 100 yards, turn left into the woods and walk due east until you hit water.....you will kill wood ducks, and mallards will drop there when flying.
GREEN JEANS WILL CHECK YOU HERE.......FACT.
Make sure you have your signed BB hunting permit in addition to you stamps, steel only, etc.
If you can get a mojo set up anywhere out there do it -
