Im just tired of people bashing the coaches when our offensive line is the real problem. Our line played about 6 or 7 quarters worth of good football this entire year and during that time the offense looked great.

Well, I have to wonder why our coaches put such terrible fricking players on the field if they can't manage more than two good games in a season. What's wrong with our positional coaching or recruiting if we can't field a working o-line? Are we so lacking in depth? Isn't that what's supposed to separate top SEC programs from others?
We have an OC that was an O-line coach and a head coach who was an O-line coach, and our O-line was garbage. Who do you think is to blame there?
Of course all of this is assuming I take your bullshite premise that the ONLY problem with the offense was the line, which it wasn't.

If Miles could take Miles's team and almost beat Bama, then Saban could certainly take Miles's team (if given enough time to prepare them) and beat Alabama.

The Player that they put on the field on the o-line were injured. Maybe that's why the backups played? Maybe that's why it wasn't a starting caliber o-line? Next argument

6 months to coach Saban hands down

LSU has basically the same talent as Bama, but is retricted because our coach has a different game time philosophy (on offense). If you think otherwise you are either stupid or in denial.
THIS!

yep. always the line, the receivers, the Qb's.....but pay no attention to the ranking and what our eyes have seen since 2009.
i mean no way the coaches are responsible for that right?

Miles literally had to go win the SECCG for the right to "rematch" a supposed genius coach he had already beaten on his home turf.
That is the thing that still kills me about 2011.

you think we came to play offensively against UGA or Alabama (either time) last year? Are you watching this fricking offense? Seriously. Chavis has his guy's ready week in and week out. Les can't get his side of the ball moving IN FIVE YEARS IN A ROW.
You people turning a blind eye to an obvious problem are laughable. ITS OK LES HAS EM RIGHT WHERE HE WANTS EM!!!!!1one
The excuses and spin here by some in defense of leslie is pathetic. bottom line is saban gets it done when it matters. all these hypotheticals are laughable.
i mean saban almost beat miles with a underdog team in 07. so miles almost did that in 08? big deal. it all means nothing in the end.
it is all about banners. and no 09 was not as close as some like to think. oh but miles BARELY upset bama in 2010. it was bound to happen sooner or later. law of averages.fine. give milkes credit. Saban destroyed an equally talented LSU team last year in the NC. but saban gets no props for coaching? laughable. saban destroying us in the NC was much more impressive than les winning in 2010.
if nobody thinks saban could not coach up LSU then there is no help for them.

Could you take Saban's cock and beat yourself with it?

Yes, he could. Saban could take Florida, A&M or LSU and beat BAMA

The thing that kills me about it is being shut out in the NCG.

So you think Lee and Jefferson were capable of leading a highly ranked offense?

I agree and THAT loss was on the coaching staff. I also agree we need to hire an offensive coordinator but even now when the players show up and execute, the offense doesn't look that bad. We looked good in the Bama game because because the players were pumped up and executed the game plan.
I don't know about you but I refuse to believe that our philosophies change THAT much between games. The biggest difference has been whether the offensive line came to play or not.

You Miles haters are pathetic. You refuse to see where I say that I agree that we need an offensive coordinator because I do believe we are too predictable and vanilla. The point is we can still move the ball when the players do their jobs! The offensive line played decent early in the season but the receivers couldn't catch a damn thing. The receivers start catching balls and the offense starts catching its stride. Once everything started trending up, the offensive line decided to take the year off.
It has been frustrating as hell to watch but if the line improves as it should this fall then the offense as a whole will be improve. Well, unless the receivers get the dropsies again. I am hoping for a change in staff but I will keep a positive outlook either way.
