Your Epic fail is well documented above.

I actually stand by everything above that I posted. In the case of jacer, I was incorrect about his behavior as he is one of the rare intelligent open minded posters on this board. You on the other hand would seem to be a bit lost. I think most agree with the stuff I have posted.

And my sarcasm meter has been way out of whack lately. That or I just don't suffer the ignorance well any longer.

Ask Sam Walton. Part of the problem is that so many on this board think these welfare programs take money out of the economy - they do not.

Curious as to why you brought God into this discussion?
As I was reading the OP, I came across the leaving a baby to die thing and instantly thought of Moses. It deteriorated from there.

Absolutely it does. When you give money to poor people who don't pay taxes, the government DOES NOT GET ANY MORE TAX REVENUE. The government should be giving all of the money to the richest so that they get back the most taxes. The only way to get more government revenue is to give the money to the rich people. It's not that hard.

Oh, but to answer the OP's question: "Who dropped the ball in America?" I would have to say the signatories to the Declaration of Independence. We coulda been like Canada and Australia and shite. But no, we had to go mouthing off to the king.

As long as you approach it with the same open mindedness as this time, it is great. And I reserve the right to disagree with myself at a later point as well... But lets hope I don't do that too often...

Would the opening poster like to move to another country?
