2011 was obviously the best team we've ever had, unfortunately that other school had arguably their best ever team as well the same year.

2012 was supposed to be our year, but bad off-field decisions and injuries again hurt the team as well as offensive struggles.

With all the underclassmen leaving, did we miss our chance? Its pretty safe to say 2013 begins a rebuilding process.

We won't win it next year with all the player losses and the schedule. The following year we're breaking in a new QB.

Not winning it at least the next two years.

after 2008, and especially after 2009, i wondered if we'd rebound and get back to that level...and we did...

jan 9 sucked and losing to clemson sucked, but we'll be back in it again soon

No. We lose experience but still have tons of talent, and we'll continue to. Next year might not be the year but down the road its idiotic to think we won't be a contender

Off-field as in the coaches' box, film room, meeting rooms?

Same question was asked in 2005, '06, '10, and '11.

LSU is a perennial national title contender under Les Miles.

If we can stay healthy next year, LSU will challenge again.

How much longer is Chavis under contract? That's our window.

I don't know why everyone was saying 2012 was our year. 2011 was our year. Senior QBs, senior leadership on both aides of the ball.
2012 had a first time starter at QB and many other new faces. I get we were still about a min away from the SEC champ game, but 2011 could have been the most dominant year by a program in a long time.

Yes. LSU will now be in a epic battle with Moo U. to see who can come in fourth in the SECW. Les is too stupid to realize he has problems with his offense and absolutely refuses to make any meaningful changes on that side of the ball.

2013 will have it's growing pains, but I doubt it's anything like 2008-2009.

With the amount of talent LSU brings in the window of opportunity is always there.

I don't think so. The draft classes have been really strong lately. I think we are as able as ever considering the youth we have returning. Corey Raymond will be in his second year as DB coach, and I think he is going to do a fine job.

Lots of young players got meaningful snaps at key positions. I think we can win another Championship.

I absolutely agree, but I implore you all to think about this... Our best team ever, and it was all ruined by one guy. JJ. If we had had a good QB last year, like an AJ or Murray type, would we be in the GTOAT conversation? No doubt we would have rolled in the NC.

JJ essentially ruined our best season ever. All of the negatigers are the birth child of JJ.
