Yes, I hate NegaTigers sometimes.

College game? Not the same standards, expectations and demands.
If you are paying someone NFL money to be the head coach, you bet your arse it is.
College football is big business.
If you think LSU fans view of the offense is dismal, talk to fans of some other schools. They know how shitty it has been, and is.

"Miles has come to a crossroads with this program....what he decides to do with the O from this point forward will be very important for his future at LSU and the future of our program. I believe he will do what needs to be done...."
Keeping in mind the 3 bowl loses and UA and UF, I have to start wondering if the offense problems are with the coaching rather the quality of the OL or the QBs. I always thought JJ and JL were substandard and things would turn around with a quality QB (eg ZM). Now I wonder. Just as an aside, Richt (UGA) has done a great job with Murray; he got better and better as the season went on. Coach Miles fixed the defense, I hope he does the same with the offense. Otherwise, as suggested, the program has peaked.
On the other hand, speaking of Mark Richt, his fan base wanted to fire him for years - until this season. Programs change. Maybe we ought to give Coach Miles the benefit of the doubt and watch what he does in the offseason.

quote:Do you actually think this is a planned philosophy?
It means the philosophy of trying to play to the last possession and winning on the final minute sucks donkey balls.
This staff blew out all teams not named bama last year.
LSU has offensive execution problems, including RBs and QB.
If the plays are executed by all, the peach bowl is a blowout.

Both him and Mike Detillier said that Les will make a change. I have my doubts.

There are lots of NFL coaching positions opening up. Maybe the NegaTigers will get their wish and Coach Miles will be hired away from Baton Rouge.
You for real

But, you are probably one of those idiots who have no complaints about the Saints, but want to bash Coach Miles endlessly -- a NegaTiger and a PosiSaint. This despite the fact that LSU had a winning record and the Saints did poorly this season !
Your first mistake was you tried thinking.
Secondly, I have been a "posi" Saint and Tiger for as long as I can remember. I am 38, not sure how old you are. But I am also a REALIST.
The Saints D was garbage. Embarrassing. Even the offense wasn't as good as it should be. But I can understand how important Payton was for that. On D, no excuses.
The LSU offense is and has been garbage. Embarrassing. You can ball wash Miles all you want and talk about amateur vs professional but I seem to remember Miles making more than some NFL coaches. So give me a fricking break about striving for excellence.
If you're not doing that for LSU, then you're not a "posi" Tiger; you're a fricking moron.
Or you can just pump some more sunshine about how great it's been to watch 1/9, 11/3, and 12/31 for some recent examples.

How is he going to fix himself? Miles is the problem with the offense.

He can change coordinators all he wants.
The bigger issue is that there are two teams on our schedule every year who have coaches who are far more intense and obsessed with winning than Miles. One of those teams is playing in the Sugar and the other is playing in the national title game for the 3rd time in 4 seasons.

Imagine LSU with even an above average offense the last couple years.

He did seem arrogant in that press conference, but trust me, he ain't bullet proof.

That's a dirty rotten thing to say. You might not agree with his decisions, but it's slander to say he doesn't care. Shame on you.

Agreed. Fix our offense and we roll. Don't fit it and we lose to another team in another lower tier bowl next year. Then we fire Miles in two years with 5 more years on his contract and pay the huge buyout.
Hope he fixes the offense.

I agree with him. The offense needs repairing.

You are probably the smartest NegaTiger that I have argued with. I see what you are doing. Don't directly attack the PosiTiger with insults and name calling -- UNDERMINE HIM by subversion. Yes, that's it, you are trying to convince the board that I'm not really a PosiTiger. Evil Genius ! Are you an Evil Genius IRL, or do you toy with Mankind only on TD? I'll have to carefully watch for more of your Jedi Mind Tricks.
Cheers. I almost woke my girlfriend up laughing last night reading through some of your posts after figuring it out.

I never like Miles from the time he got here. I thought last year he had surrounded himself with assistant coaches that would fix the problems. But Les could have the best assistants in the world and the same predictable offense is what you will get, he is that lame of a coach!!!

Let me remind your that the LSU powers that be have sent you and other haters a clear message: Coach Miles is going to be the HC of LSU football for a long, long time.
You can verbally abuse me all you want on this message board if it helps you get through your day, but, in the end THE JOKE IS ON YOU . . . YOU ARE THE FOOL, because the college team YOU root for is coached by a man you think is an idiot AND HE WILL BE HERE FOR A LONG, LONG TIME.
HAVE A GREAT DAY !
