Saban might be great with Alabama, but that doesn't make him great at LSU. He had one NC, which was a great year, then sloughed off to 8-3 (and if Miles had done that, you would call for Miles' head).

Saban was 48-16 at LSU. Don't give me the "rebuilding" b.s. After the 2003 NC, LSU finished 9-3, including a loss to Iowa in a bowl game and an arse kicking by Georgia 45-16.

Saban had other atrocious losses. He won an NC, but he wasn't the coaching God in La. that you portray him to be.

Being great in Alabama is not the same as being great in Louisiana.

Things aren't like they used to be and never were

I knew that would be the first response - heaven forbid someone question the greatness of Nick Saban at LSU.

Why do you keep bringing up Saban? No one gives a frick.

This is a Miles thing. He's clueless. Has nothing to do with Saban.

we weren't prepared for mauck to leave early

it was corrected by 2005

how long has it taken miles to find a QB post-flynn? next year will be year 6

because he took over a stacked program?

he won as many SEC titles at LSU while rebuilding the program that miles has, after being given an absurdly stacked roster

Reality Saban was 48-16.
The far more-referenced Unicorn Saban was 64-0.
I freakin LOVE Unicorn Saban.

If Saban would have followed Saban, we might have 4 or 5 NC :)))))

And will continue doing the same stuff as well because he wants total control.

Please compare Miles and Saban's records since 2008. I'll hang up and listen.

Saban had a National Championship and 2 SEC titles in five years - the same Les has in 8 years.

It ain't about Saban though. He was a great coach that has gotten even better. You are right, he had some real clunkers. He also took over a losing program and made us a big winner fast.

Miles has done a great job, but his bowl record is on the decline. We got blown out against Bama in New Orleans last year and his coaching decisions likely cost LSU two games this year (Florida just beat us and we weren't as good as them that day).

This really has nothing to do with Saban. This has to do with Les not doing the obvious and smart thing and probably costing his team a bowl W.

Do a search for Saban - he's everywhere today. I'm not the obsessed one, you people are.

You're right, he wasn't rebuilding. He was building. As an the entire lsu football program as its known today.

You should just stick to scouring the Internet for pictures of attractive women to post on here. You're much more knowledgable about that topic.
