I still miss levitation from Morrowind. Nothing says badass like being able to fly over a mountain or stupid dead end.

Creating spells was amazing.
I had one that somehow did 400 damage and only cost 10 magicka.
I think because it was a dps spell that only lasted 2 seconds it was very cheap.

MMOs do this to me all the time.
I spend 100s of hrs grinding then can't even play a game or another genre for months after. Nothing appeals to you but then 1 day you just jump back in.

My biggest complaint with the homebuilding is that it is all predetermined.
Considering houses are already in game, with the ability to modify them, I assumed that a special paid for DLC would allow you to freeform build, or at least with minor limits.
Give me a predetermined grid and let me build my damn house how I want to!

Lvl 68.
Just about done with the thieves guild and rebuilding nonsense. At least this time I knew the tip to get the bedlam and sweep tasks in the same city to hit it 2 for the price of one.
Trying to get light armor and 2 handed raised is a serious pain at lvl68. It is definitely bringing the difficulty level higher.
Not looking to max out because no way in hell I am going to work on pickpocketing.

SPOILERS
for weapon skills get shadowmere and beat on it all you want, works for magic skills too. there used to be wolves outside of riverwood that you could hold up in a tree log to up armor and blocking skills.

I miss those scamps from Oblivion. I pretty much maxed most of my skills on those 5 scamps that were tied to that staff.

Amazing how fast the money shoots up when you finish the thieves quest line and use the persuasion perks. I went from 50k to 350k pretty fast. Not that you need much cash.
I have one quest to go to wrap up the mage quest and then I'll finish the companions guild.
Then I need to do the city quests to get all of the houses.
Then the end game, I'll hit the main quest line. A few more weeks and I will be done. Not sure if I will get the DLC.

My exact complaint on skyrim forum
If i cannot put 8 mannequins with every armor in my armory, or more weapon racks, what is the point?
The house build is great, but then, when customizing it, it's what they want you to put, not what u want to put in there.
It's a buy, but not worth paying for. Should of come with dawnguard or dragonborn.
as my first RPG, i do enjoy it,

Almost level 78. Ha. I thought I wasn't going to max out. Archery, 2 Hander and Pickpocket is about all I have left.
I've finished Companions, Mage and thieves guild. I need to get all of the homes then do all the daedric quests. Finally need to join the stormcloaks and then after over a year, I need to work on the main quests.

Are you playing on PC? There are a ton of Steam achievements to complete if so.
So i decided, my female Nord, needs to marry.
And instead of scissor grinding with Ysolda, every night, i decided on Lydia. Now, in our freshly built home, the beyatch is glitched out. She gets caught on every table, door frame, etc and shakes. She won't move from the spot, as she is stuck.
I also, cannot buy a home in Markarth, the jarl told me, i would be able to, then won't give me the option, and neither will his steward. It's a known bug, just never tried to build the 3rd home.
I should of been able to marry the big breasted blonde in Falkreath, she was wanting to scissor, real badly, while i was in town.
I wish i had it on PC< the mods for the game are incredible, especially the monster pack, and the armors.

I just started playing Morrowind. I've never played any of these, but I can already tell this is gonna take a while.
re: Skyrim Round 2Posted by DoUrden on 1/11/13 at 7:55 pm to Teddy Ruxpin
I wish I had played Morrowind before oblivion, I hear it's awesome but I have a hard time playing previous versions when I have played a newer one.

No game compares to Morrowind for me. Easily my favorite.
As powerful as you can get in Skyrim and Oblivion that is nothing compared to all the constant effects enchants form Morrowind. You had more slots for enchants.
Although I Hated those damn bird things attacking on Red Mountain.
Morrowind had more atmosphere. Lots of spooky caves.

I need to read the damn manual. Im a random arse dark elf with a big sword not knowing what potions or scrolls do. For someone who was all about Diablo I, Ultima Online, etc as a kid youd think this would come natural.

The game is so freaking huge it can be overwhelming. Especially learning how to make spells and constant effect items.
