Which would benefit more? Cowboys w/o Romo? Or Romo w/o Cowboys?

Mentally, I think Romo needs a change. New coach, new team, new philosophy, new receivers, less reliance on Jason Whitten.

Too many teams this year and last few years proving to catch lightening in bottle with rookie QBs in the draft. Time for Jerry to make a move.

Romo with a decent Oline would be very good. The dude is constantly spinning and running for his life.

I hear this shite all the time but who IYO should the cowboys go and get? some of you act like there's so many great QB's just sitting out there for the cowboys to grab.

Name a team with a decent OL that has an underperforming QB?

Minnesota?

he doesn't need an all world D line... just average.

Throw Tennessee, Cleveland, Kansas City in there as well. Hell the Jets have a great center and very good left tackle.

You deal with what you have. Dallas needs to draft the heir apparent soon (wish it was a better class this year), but there aren't many better options out there you could get without selling your soul. And he's not the problem anyway.

So I answer the question: Romo would be better w/o Cowboys in this hypothetical

So Romo has options if he wants to demand a trade? He should. He needs a change of scenery.

I don't know why you have to make this such an ultimatum. Why can't we just keep Romo and get better up front, allow him and our receivers to Gel another year and maybe pray that we can get healthy defensively? just a thought.

How many times does continuing to do the same thing over and over and over count towards either mental illness or mental instability? Romo failed. He is mentally unable to come through in the big game.

He is a good QB. That is not in question, but he needs a change and a coach that figures out how to get Romo focused.

this for sure...The cowboys really are only a few O-line guys away from serious contention if austin can get healthy again. Need to pick up another backup running back as well. Dez is just cracking his top 3 wr in the league potential.

Yeah, and again, he's a terrible blocker. He can not run the ball for shite, when you're needing to establish a running game. And again, he's guilty of not getting enough pressure on the opposing QB's.

I know I'm crazy for expecting him to improve in these areas, but I'm a sucker for Romo.

and interceptions... He totally has that interceptions thing going down. At least, only when it really matters.
