I agree that Peterson deserves the MVP, but your reasoning makes no sense

An 8-8 team that managed to win the division with that record but really struggled to win games versus this year where they won 11 straight, each one by 7 points or more. Night and day difference. The whole "well they made the playoffs last year" is really uninformed.

You do know that Peterson played for the Vikings last season too, right?

It's funny how 4 weeks ago AP was missing team meetings and the coach had to have a talk with him. Now all the sudden people want him to be MVP.

Your reasoning makes Corky look smart.

The Broncos this year also haven't played hardly anybody during that 11 game win-streak.

9 out of the 11 games were against teams with losing records.

They played:

San Diego (7-9)
New Orleans (7-9)
Cincinnati (10-6)
Carolina (7-9)
San Diego (7-9)
Kansas City (2-14)
Tampa Bay (7-9)
Oakland (4-12)
Baltimore (10-6)
Cleveland (5-11)
Kansas City (2-14)

Total: (68-108) .386 win percentage

The average record of those teams is 6-10.

Easy schedule.

They handily beat 2 playoff teams during that stretch, first of all. Second, San Diego would have a winning record if not for the losses to Denver and 3 other teams would at least be 8-8. They also beat the Steelers in the opener when they were actually decent. Remember the Steelers started 7-4 before fading down the stretch.

And Team Tebow had a rough go with the schedule? How many backup QBs on garbage teams did they get to play? How many important injured players did they get to avoid? C'mon son.
