$100 dollar cards handed out for handguns and long guns and $200 for the kind of rifle used in the Newtown tragedy.

can't you get them cheaper than that new?

quote:

There's also the Lorcin, Jennings JA-series, Jimenez Arms, AMT. cheap handguns all under $60 today.
None of them are in current manufacture- they all got a bad rep from the 80s and 90s and crushed by government red tape directed only at those companies

You can't get ammo for them anyway.

Why not? Destructive devices are perfectly legal.

On the other hand, the AT4 is done after one shot. Literally useless.

I guess banning those guns worked out.

And no way to get ammo, even if they work.

Smart people right there. Could easily get 1,000 for an AR at minimum and they're getting 200.

Also, didn't the OB and PT already prove that AR's weren't used in Newtown?

I hope Louisiana does this cause I'm thinking about going sit in the parking lot with a couple thousand and give cash money for decent guns instead of cards, or even offer $25-$50 more.

With private sales being perfectly legal, I wonder how they would/could interfere with it?

They could run checks to make sure they're not stolen, etc.
