It has already been well documented in this thread that I watched a communist film probably funded by arabs and I don't know shite about fracking. I am glad your animals didn't die. That would totally suck.

I believe you. I truly don't know much at all about fracking and I really am glad your animals didnt die. I just watched a film on HBO last night about fracking - it was actually a little bit on the anti fracking side to be fair - then i made a provocative post. I've learned a lot since then so I'm happy about that.

In my opinion, which admittedly doesn't mean much, I think we desperately need the natural gas we get from fracking. It's clean burning, it gives us independence from foreign sources of engergy, and it creates American jobs. But the chemicals in the fluids they use are most likely dangerous and toxic. To claim otherwise would be foolish. And to use them in places where it can get into our food and water supplies would be foolish. This is one case where the federal government and the EPA needs to step in and make some common sense rules.
I've even heard some people claim that, some frackers wouldn't mind the government stepping in, as it would make some of the bad apples in the industry to shape up.
