Ive found the easiest way is an Excel spreadsheet. You can make multiple coulmns across the top for the years, prices paid, and any comments associated as well as tabs at the bottom(i.e. dollars, currency, halves, american eagles...) to keep track of everything you need in an organized matter.

What year/mint Morgan's did you get? Quality? How much you pay? I'm not too big on peace dollars but I sho do love me some Morgans and Eagles
I got 2 1890 O mint morgans. They are circulated and in decent shape. I don't get them for collectable value, just for silver content.

You would think some silver purchases of late would be notable. On the other hand, I have nothing to bring to the table except I am still searching through boxes of halves.

I'm going to go by the LCS today to see if they've gotten any Silver eagle proofs that I can add to my series. Plus last tuesday (mardi gras) they showed me some several NGC graded Morgan's some guy sold them so I may pick some of those up if they still have any and if the price is right.

I got an 1838 dime minted in New Orleans this week. 1838 was the first year of operations for the NO mint.

Here's my newest editions. Picked them up today from the LCS. Paid $81.50/each for both graded Morgan's and $45 for the loose Morgan.

What LCS do you go to? Did they have any more of the slabbed Morgans left?

I do the best with what I can afford and I always try to pick out AU or above conditions from low mintage years. I'm no where near OT Baller status. I wish I was though .

Really $45 for the loose Morgan, damn thats high. My LCS in Lafayette, charges $2 under spot for loose Morgans, about $27 or $28 right now.

Just wanted to post a pic of some silver from my stack. Talk stack is silver rounds, 2 smaller stacks are Morgans and Peace Dollars, and a couple 2013 Silver Eagles. How do I get the image to work from photobucket?

Went to the LCS today and there wasn't much of a selection. To me it seems like BR doesn't have much of a selection when it comes to coins as opposed to somewhere like New Orleans. Anyways here are two of my most recent purchases...
