PFT is reporting that Jerry Jones has no interest in letting the current Dallas Head Coach go.

quote:

Jones said he’s “real pleased” with the job Garrett has done this season and explained that there’s no change on the horizon. “I...have not even thought about anything different than Jason being our coach. That’s the only response that I have to it,” Jones said, via the Dallas Morning News. “Seriously, and I’ll be real serious about it, I have no thoughts about making a coaching change.”

Maybe SP will agree to be Jones' OC.

Moose Johnston as someone with more than just passing knowledge of inside the Cowboys was very strong in comments that his return was sure for next year.

Where's jazzy jeff when we need him?

I got into it with ole JazzyJeff a few times on this subject because of his perceived trolling, but ill stick up for the guy and say that he has become a good poster since then

No way. Jerry Jones stuck up for Garrett last season the same way.. and Garrett has come on even stronger this 2nd half of football.

How you gonna have a thought of firing a coach who has your team in position to win the division on the last week of football?.. with tragedy and an incredible rate of injuries.

Jones won't get rid of his mildly successful puppet head coach and replace him with the highest paid coach in the league who will want a lot of control

If there's anywhere Saints fans should worry about for next season . . . I would say San Diego. Great set up in a nice place to live. However, I don't think Payton's going anywhere.

Those three dots after the word I give me reason for pause. That must mean he already talked to Payton and he accepted the job.

I put the three dots there after I because Jones says something unimportant right there about being unaware of Glazer's report.

And yes, I know you're kidding.

Next head coach of the San Diego Chargers (who will move to L.A. before Jacksonville) . . . ladies and gentlemen . . . Sean Payton. It's going to be so funny when this actually happens.

IMHO if he doesnt make the playoffs or even if he makes the playoffs and loses jerry cans him. these kinds of statements always seem to be the kiss of death.

I would can him just because he looks like their mascot, howdie doodie, or whatever they call him.

I was going to ask if he yada yada'd over the most important part.

Be honest, the 3 dots are Jerry Jones saying "would be lying if I said I"
