He will do major damage as a recruiter. Will be interesting to see if any Tulane recruits flip.

Big addition for Tech. Should be huge for recruiting.

Who gets the Karr job? I wonder if West St. John HC Robert Valdez will pursue it. Him and Juluke is close I believe....

There is a lot of talent on that team...

Watched a few of their pregame vids this year. It would be awesome if Juluke got his team at Tech up like he did at Karr.

Q: Did Southern even approach Juluke?

I wish Juluke could get Noel Ellis & Standish Dobart to flip to Tech but I wouldn't hold my breath on it

We reported last night to our subscribers that our sources were telling us Jabbar Juluke would be announced today as a hire by Skip Holtz.

True, but I think CJ will be abled to hold on. I dont think kids will be so eager to leave Nola for Ruston. Tulane is headed to a better conference, has better academics and is in a more desirable city. Now if Cj doesnt have any success next year on the field I think things could change.

Is this the Karr HC that is supposedly anti-LSU / Sabans milk man?

I think other poster is thinking of Crutchfield at St Aug. Crutchfield is Bamas Brad Sylve step Dad, but I'm not sure he's anti lsu. From what I have seen, he is doing his best to be fair. I'm more concerned with his DC, who steered Shiro Davis to Texas and did it like a bitch.

About the last place in the world I would want my kids to live would be New Orleans. I guess I can see why some people would want to live there though. It's all preference.

Well Juluke will most likely be recruting kids from New Orleans, so I doubt that will be the case with most of the guys he's going after. This is the kids decision anyway and I guarantee most would rather be in NO than Ruston. If Cj starts winning La Tech/Juluke will be a non-factor for Tulane. As I stated they're headed to the Big East which is a better conference, have better academics and are in a better location.

Fortunately not everyone is as ignorant as you are.
