What do you mean UNLESS he is drafted 1st round? Of course he will be drafted 1st round. And he will take the money..and don't blame him

It really all depends. Some players drop because they are considered unsignable. I still think he'll go in the first, but teams don't like wasting high picks on guys that won't see their roster.

Is your friend the Head coach or the Asst? My son plays for Bourgeois.
And yes that bomb was pretty nice when he hit that one. Justin has hit quite a few bombs like that this year. Like I said before, he is your typical power hitter. Amazing bat speed!

Decent. He is hitting close to .370 something with like 4 or 5 bombs. Good numbers considering he is using a wooden bat but I thought they would be a little better. Look at some of the studs in HS and they are hitting .600 with 10hrs

Yeah, but most are still using the BBCor bats that, while they try to resemble wooden bats, they still have a good bit more power

so unless he is a 1st round pick, I bet we see him on campus.

He will be.

Have you seen this kids bat speed? There was a video posted a long time ago on here. It is scary. He is also a very good athlete.

As someone said, probably with better bats.

HOWEVER, I greedily hope he has an average senior year and falls to a later round grade than 1st. That would be swell seeing him and bregman in the order for 2 years.

it's a shame he didn't transfer to a good HS team to get to the state playoffs... imagine when he actually gets some coaching how good he might be

Like where? Doubt any of the private schools in the area would have taken him other than Covenent Christian.

funny cause i was talking with someone yesterday saying he was the best HS player he's ever seen

Jesuit was good back then too. That is who rummel beat in 97 to win state.

Possibly, but I doubt it. EDW/Vandy don't mind taking talent or giving scholarships when need be but they don't usually take on discipline problems (both turned down Evan Ingram a few years ago)and Justin Williams has been ejected from about half the football games he's played in for fighting.

It is almost impossible that this kid makes it to campus. I know he has stated he will honor his commitment and wants to get his education, but I believe that is just window dressing. What is he supposed to say, "I'm planning on going pro but LSU is my fallback plan"?

Don't get me wrong, I would be going crazy with excitement if he comes here, but realistically...probably gonna be offered too much to turn down the pros.

Ok, i have to stop you there. Justin was ejected against CL at CL because he was Terrebonne's best player (and the best player on the field)...what did he do to get ejected? He stood next to his mother on the sideline.

A kid from CL started pushing kids on Terrebonnes sideline and a punch was thrown by a THS WR...

Justin Williams' mother called him over to her when she saw the fight start.

Refs, meet in the middle and say "We are ejecting 4, 7, and 52 for Central Lafourche" (one of those made up numbers was their best player) and we are going to Eject 7, 63,....and.......4 (JW)"

It was complete BS and it was on film. Thibodaux Association Refs...well, I wont say anymore....

But the ruling was overturned. No formal ejection.

The ONLY other dicipline problem he had was earlier that year ED White players were tackling him (well trying at least) after the whistle....he never went down but pushed a kid off of him .....That was an iffy ejection...but I can agree with it.

By NO means is he a discipline problem. He is a good old country boy.
