With all the market heat over the 15s, what about the AR-10?

I can buy a nice Armalite for around $2200.

AR-10s are great but that seems to be a little steep. I'd think $1500 max for that rifle unless it has a schmidt and bender sitting on the top of it.

I should have added that it has a stainless barrel, but that still seems high.

Get one takes the Knight-style mags (not M14) Armalite I think makes them both ways. If you have an FAL and a bunch of mags, check out RRA. Their AR10's use FAL mags.

It uses the M14 mags, with modification.
It has a stainless steel Armalite match barrel, 20". (not sure of grade)
It includes bi-pod, Swift Tactical scope, 2 5 rd mags and 3-4 20 rd mags. Also the original case.

Seems like a fair, not great deal, judging from what I can gather on Gunbroker.

Your thoughts are welcome.

What's the scope worth? The rifle itself looks $1600-$1800.

I don't think too much. I haven't seen the scope yet.

The rifle is real sharp as I recall.

You think 16-18 even with the ss barrel?
That looks to be about $450 on Aramlite's website.

Have a Sig 716 and it is accurate and comfortable to shoot. Half inch groups with open sights at 100 yds.

Not gonna find it. 40 different companies and counting telling me so! Just in case u find it, buy immediately. Literately seconds between seeing "in stock" and "sold out/backordered" online!

I don't know how much of a premium Armalite commands, but for that money you can get into a high-end AR10.

Armalite is a good brand, no doubt.

Not a by God Colt, though.
