... you have already beaten the game... even if it was the crappy ending.. I didn't spoil anything, I actually asked oaron NOT to spoil anything for me.

I'm fearing it. It's the day after you clear the Hollow Forest.

So what is everyone currently playing?

I'm playing some Ninja Gaiden and Persona.. it's getting harder to play through the dungeons on Persona, I end up just seeking out the "rare monster" things that look like hands and just Almightying them dead.. and find another, and find another over and over again, tends to score me more yen and experience anyways..

Been on a baseball kick right now, so The Show is my game of choice right now. Hell I am typing this on my way back from a roadtrip to Orlando to watch Braves spring training.

I need to start up Persona again to "do it right" this time. Just having a hard time figuring out how I should deal with all the dialogue. I would fast forward through much of the talking although I need to know how to answer things sometimes so that may not work.

If you double tap "Start" you can fast-forward through any and all dialogue while it stops for any decisions you have (whether they're of consequence or not).

There are tons of guides activity by activity to follow if you want to max out each social link. I'd consider doing that. If you want, I can link you to one.

I got to the top floor of Hollow Forest last night and something came up stopping me from fighting boss. Will get that silver trophy soon!

Oh yes. Fighting the hands made going back through old dungeons for quests so much more bearable. They give tons of XP and yen which make getting new personas so much easier (enough cash to get on the compendium).

Being that's completely useless to buy new weapons and only mildly useful to get new armor, nearly all of your cash should be going to building new, powerful personas.

My compendium is at something like 98% complete.. I created every single persona I could, unless I didn't have a level 10 social link to make it my first time through..

You even did the condition specific 4, 5, and 6 persona combos? I'm near 80%, but I haven't done a whole lot to boost my compendium. At least it carries over into NG+.

Also beat the boss of the Hollow Forest. I'm shocked it wasn't included in the original PS2 game. It really helps wrap up some loose ends of the story and explains some things.

Guides would be good. I loved the game, but shite, it sucked with that deflated ending.

General FAQ with some fantastic info.

Thank you sir!

I loved the story the first time through. But even the first time through there were times where I wanted them to shut up about meat or meals cooked etc.

Well, I can understand your annoyance, but it's a pretty common trope for anime and Japanese games. Due to the incredible amount of convenience stores (store bought food that is already prepared) and the distaste for being overweight, being able to cook well is very well thought of. So, for a lot of the female characters, not being able to cook is seen far more negative than it would be here in the US.

I hear ya. My wife is not the best cook either but if I ragged her like they did in the game I would have to cook my own food from then on.

It added to the characters, but not something I need to listen to again.

Double tap start. It fast forwards through all text and dialogue, only stopping at choices.

Adachi and Yu (main character) have the same voice actor. It's even more evident in the anime.

It's also the same guy in Trigun and a million other shows.

yeah, Japanese companies love to milk the shite out of their voice actors on English Dub

ETA: My favorite from him is either Vash or Kiba though
