Dude have you had PH POH? If so, how does it compare to 6?

Yes, I've had POH. Hard to compare because I haven't had them side by side. The main difference is of course the proof. I like both a lot but I do prefer the 6. Probably because I'm a barrel proof junkie.

Picked up a Blanton's barrel selection at Martin's this afternoon. Anyone tried it? Blanton's is hard as hell to find right now and it was a good price so I had to snag one...

Obviously they bought a whole barrel so they have a good bit.

In Amsterdam, had 2 Blanton's barrel proofs, was fantastic...hadn't seen it yet in the states...

We found a whiskey bar that had a decent bourbon selection, and the biggest scotch selection I've ever seen...there were no less than 25 Laphroaig varieties

I figured that, so at 7 euro/pour I should take advantage...the bar had more Glencairne glasses that NOLAGT and UncleJack combined...

Only other notable bourbons were Heaven Hill 14-yr (bottled in 2011) and Dickel barrel select...will be back there the next 2 days so will probably sample a few more

1st pour: first taste of my 50/50 while starting a game of Cards Against Humanity so I'm sure there will be many more pours to come.

I've got a bottle of Martin's/Blanton's in my cabinet next to a SFTB Blanton's, both unopened. I've told myself to clear out a couple other things before I open something else, but you guys are tempting me.
