Not really. The golden eagle prefers live food but will scavenge if nothing else is available.

Yep. My brother is a falconer. If someone hunts illegally with a gun they get fined and almost always get to hunt again.
A falconer that hunts out of season gets a lifetime ban. No ifs, ands or buts.

Wouldn't this be extremely hard to catch someone doing? You're hunting with a bird. Who is going to question a bird for hunting out of season?
