AR-15 pricing and where to buy?

So I've been thinking about buying an AR-15 for a while now and I think now's the time. How much should I expect to spend and where is a good place in Louisiana to buy one?

Just find somewhere and buy the lower, that is the part that requires the FFL and the part that will be the most taxable. You can buy the upper and parts after the ban because they aren't considered firearms.
