What do you think we would have to give up to get Bledsoe from the Clippers? Do you think they hold on to him to see what Paul is going to do?

Too bad Dunleavy isn't their coach/GM anymore, we probably could have gotten Bledsoe and Crawford for Dominic McGuire.

Bledsoe is a good player, but you need a big two guard (which we dont have) to offset his defensive limitations.

Vasquez is probably a better fit next to Gordon than Bledsoe is.
I also read that Bledsoe's best numbers are coming with Paul on the court. I doubt he's running the point with Paul out there.

What?
Bledsoe's strength is his defense

quote:Where did you read that? Ive seen every Clippers game this year I can tell you that's false. Bledsoe is usually in the game with Jamal Crawford. Bledsoe and Paul played some together earlier in the seaosn, but that has not been the norm.

And to the OP, the Clippers are not going to trade Bledsoe. He's their starting PG next year if Paul signs elsewhere as a FA.

Hornets Clippers Raptors 3-teamer
I don't mind that. Pick being top 1 or 2 protected.

Thats a good deal if the pick is protected in the top 5-8 range. If it is unprotected then I am not a fan.

Bledsoe would start for a handful of NBA teams. Kid is really really good. Probably a top three back up PG in the league, maybe number 1.

quote:I agree. If Paul leaves the Clippers next year, I could definitely live with Bledsoe as our starting PG. He's a much improved player this year. Since he came out after his freshman year, it's easy to forget that he'd just be a college senior rigt now had he stayed in school. I know this is the NBA we're talking. I'm just saying developmentally the kid is really coming on this year.

Why would they do that?

I wanted Bledsoe along with EG before he blew up when we gave you guys the best PG in the NBA. You could've kept that damn Aminu guy.

for a backup C
Bargnani can play the 4 or 5, has length, and can shoot. Gives the Clips much needed depth in the front court, no?
You still have Green and Billups as adequate backups to Paul.

That's all I can think of.
