MBUS just stands for magpul back up sight, so that term is specific to magpul if thats what you're asking. As far as if magpul makes different variations of MBUS's, from what i know they only have that one model.

Thats what I thought. I'd like to get the Troy ones but I cant justify spending 120 more for what?... the name/a little more durability.
I'd prefer to have the sleekness of the troy over the bulk of the MBUS but I can make due with a 90 dollar pair of sights.
