The AR-15 bolt is lighter, and the M16 bolt is capable of firing fully automatic if used in military weapons.
I have heard of some 18" midlength gas systems having problems with an AR-15 bolt, and while I think mine is M-16, I am not entirely sure.

Went ahead and got the PA red dot with cantilever mount and the 3x deluxe magnifier with flip to the side mount.
I'll put on my ar or 15-22. I may buy a cheap plinking scope for the 15-22.

I had the chance when I was outprocessing my unit to keep my Interceptor because they couldn't find any paperwork that says it had been issued to me, but I insisted they take it because I didn't want them to come bill for a couple grand a few years later for not turning it in.

Is that 3x magnifier a scope, or would I need a red dot to accompany this

Yes, it still fits your upper, and its not a scope, you wouldneed a red dot

I want black MBUS sights for mine but I can't find the front anywhere. I'm about to say frick it and get another color. Might look goofy though since the rest of the gun is black.

I have bought so much stuff I can't remember where I got it and what kind it is. It's regular price was $60 and i got the light, mount, and pressure switch for $20. Actually the light is the one thing I am considering replacing at some point as it is not one of the best components
