Almost all of my parts are here - ready to start building. Still missing a BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 charging handle and shopping for an Magpul MBUS.
On the one hand I'm all  but on the other I'm all  over the post-Sandy Hook cost of this stuff.

Ive got a BCM that I will have for less than $1k, and a Daniel Defense that is less than $1200. I think I did ok
Now, once the gf hears about them, dont be surprised to see them both on bayoushooter

Takes skill and patience to get a DD for that price, both of which I lack.
My wife is on the verge of blocking all gun-related sites. The black gun fever has got me good. I'm probably getting close to $1500 for this setup but plan on trying to make some money back by selling the A2 hand guards, A2 pistol grip, etc. Stuff is selling like hotcakes on eBay.

When you building the DD? Which upper did you get?

So you think I should still go with a 14.5 over anything else... a 1:7 twist... cold hammered forged... etc.?

I had several complete uppers I bought yesterday but for some reason my phone won't allow me to place an order. So no. Still trying to score a complete upper, hopefully a DD from PK.

I am building it when one of the four lowers I ordered come in, but the upper is complete, I picked it up last night. Got a 14.5 for $799 with DD Omega Rail and cold hammer forged barrel, which is something that I have really been looking at hard lately. Bought a BCM compensator for it from Ranier to pin, bringing it to Barking Irons tomorrow I think.
Bought a PSA LPK for $180/$200, I have two different ones so not sure which I will use, just waiting for a lower. Got anxious and bought two Seekins lowers from Ranier last night, so will use whatever comes in first from those four.
Drew, I personally think that you should buy a 16in, but I like the look of the 14.5, and either pinning it or getting a stamp, you will still have to spend more money with the 14.5. So factor that in and determine what you want to do, we cant make the decision for you.

This will be completed weapons. Lowers varied in price from $80 to $180, so that factors in, but LPK went from $180/$200, and spent $425 on the BCM and $799 on the DD.

I'm thinking hard about taking my V7 rail off and getting an omega. Those babies are >$300 though.
