Finally started watching Arrested Development

Last night over the course of a night shift I watched 9 episodes once I got started.
I wasn't necessarily laughing out loud like I might for some shows, but it was definitely funny in a way that gets better the more you watch and think about it. It's hard to stop watching such an outrageously dysfunctional family.
Is this how it is over the 3 seasons? Was this the high point or does it get better?

It's awesome all the way through. They have running jokes that last throughout the series

Pay attention to all the little things. There really aren't any "throw away" jokes. If it comes up once, be prepared to hear about it again later on (sometimes even a whole season later).

You will be a better person for having watched this show.

Its gets better the further you get into it.
And with everytime you rewatch it.
You wont fully appreciate the genius of the show until its over and you see how much you miss it

Thanks. It'll be a while before I can watch anymore but I will stick with it.

I think the most under appreciated character is Barry Zuckerkorn.

I wasn't a HUGE fan of season 3, or at least the first half. But seasons 1 and 2 are both just absolute comedy gold. There were times I had to pause it because I was laughing so hard, and I've never experienced that with any other show.
That might be because that's just my sense of humor though. Just dry as a bone.

I could kiss you on the nuts.

I laughed out loud when I saw the ad on the bench that says "he's very good" because the mother had said that earlier in defense of Barry.

Did I just say that out loud?

Yeah...that whole storyline was what turned me off (ever, ever so slightly) about season 3. The Mr. F storyline was pretty meh.
Every single other storyline in the entire series though I loved.

I do the stick my fingers in my wife's mouth, and touch her face, and then say "I really need to wash my hands." Such a Barry move.
