It's been a depressing season so far, but the reports and migration numbers look awesome for the second split opening. I don't know about y'all, but I'm ready to bust that arse Saturday morning.

There were almost no ducks on the Saline/Larto complex last week. Not even high flyers. Was strange.

Headed to lease in N TX. Mallards were everywhere Tuesday and Wedensday this week and the camp shot quick limits. Thurs/Fri are rest days so it should be on Sat AM.

Will be in Venice hunting down river. Don't expect much. Expect to be doing more fishing than hunting.
