They did, but the other SEC schools weren't really in a position to hire him. I dont think what Bobby did was that big of a deal. It's still kind of fresh in everyones mind, and it was the last thing he had done as an HC.
Even though he was the most qualified of any coaching candidate, he wasn't going to get a job in any BCS conf this year.
I thought he would pull a Leach, lay low for a few years then come back. But starting somewhere small is about the same. I think it will be 2-3 years before we see him back at a big school.

Well circumventing a federal law isn't a big deal? Lying to your boss? Embarrassing a university and almost cause a ton of law suits isn't big?
