They could put out a lot of baseball players if they focused on it. Most of the white players will never play at the next level in football but could in baseball if they played more.

Huh? Curtis has 3-4 "white" seniors this year who are D1 prospects or major contributors to the team.

Lester the molester, just when I thought I was starting to like you and you were beginning to be reasonable. Ok, do me a favor. Take all of Rummel's enrollment and chop it down to 15% of what it is now and now take 5% of that and make it girls from Chapelle. Now play on the 5A level and go get em Champ! Let's see how bright that light blue color shines!?

holy shite...

One thread on the MSB that belongs here shouldn't ruffle your feathers unless you click on it. Buzz off dickweed.

So answer just this one question for me: Rummel's basketball and baseball teams are mostly non-football players or mostly football players?

You mean like the 2A schools who have to compete with a 5A team in their district?

It really sounds like they wanted to play 5a really bad...lol.

When they were going to be forced to move down they wanted to get in? Is that how I am reading it? And their stipulation was they had to play in the catholic league?

So they had no trouble beating up shite schools in smaller classes but would only accept going to the strongest district in the state if they would play up? M

I know Curtis people are generally blinded by their own school, but do you not understand how ridiculous those request are? If they are eve accurate?

Cry a river, there is nothing stopping public schools from being good in their divisions. Haynesville made the final, Karr and Neville made the final, Springfield made the semi's in 2A, and any private school has the same playing field as Curtis so if they don't like it, join the MPHAAA.

Is that our fault? Or teams like you and the LHSAA's fault? Our enrollment is a 2A school guys, let's not forget that.

Huh? The request to play in the highest division was if they could play in the catholic league. What is difficult to understand about that. Looking at how the LHSAA will put you in a random BR district even if you are in NOLA, sounds like it was a good call. Why risk joining 5A if they would stick you with other schools that weren't in your region?

I don't think you understand what I am saying. Curtis has the athletes to compete at the top in other sports. They choose not to focus on those sports as much as football. That is not a good excuse. And you can't compare it to other schools because there are no other schools that do that.

You have a school that is basically their to facilitate a football program, so naturally you have a school full of athletes.

Rummels sports teams are a mix. Most football players play basketball & run track. always been that way. The baseball team doesn't mix much.

Lester, if Rummel did not play in the Catholic League, what district would they play in and who would they play?

You are absolutely right, the school has the football players to compete 5a. Good football players do not automatically equal good basketball and baseball players, obvious by the amount of titles those other sports have won. Those sports would not be competitive in 5a. Rummel and other top 5a schools have about 500-1300 more boys to pool from that can all focus on individual sports.

Because you have the numbers to do so! Look if you love Curtis and the football program you should have gone there like I hear 100's of Rummel guys say after they graduate. Never heard a Curtis guy wish that he would have gone to Rummel.

Watergate, give us an honest assessment of your life after HS.

I mean you held back so we already know you value athletics over academics. Do you still wear your state rings?
