Has Ryan really gotten that much hype? After he's cooled down in the second half of the season its not like ESPN has been up his arse. Te'o deserves hype, btw. He's the defensive anchor of an undefeated Notre Dame team. No one is calling him the best player ever. He deserves recognition, not the Heisman..would you prefer that he be demoted to anonymity because he plays for Notre Dame?

yeah I have never seen Ryan get much hype...it's just an unreasonable hate instilled in Saints fans...their season is over so they have to find any reason to be happy

Without a power running game for him to work play action and roll out he is an above average qb. With a power running game he is probably top 6.
He will never be able to sit there and keep up with Rodgers, Brees, Brady in a shoot out, but he is a GREAT front running qb/qb who can lead you on a drive to win a close game.
