No flame intended, but you need to find a better personal perspective. It is widely known, and admitted, that these are NOT your normal D1 athletes. These are young men of much higer character, and personal conviction. For what they are willing to do for those of us who enjoy this great nation, we should ALL stand and SALUTE them. Give them this day, for they will give us SO MUCH MORE.

I watched it, great game. Lots of emotion on both sides, and young men who will serve our country proudly in the future. Wouldn't miss it. It's about the character of the players, not always the quality of the football.

Oh I have nothing but respect for what those kids put into it.
What I don't appreciate is the implication that it is the "Army's team". Like I've said, it's like saying that the gay cows are the official team of Texas.
I have no ties or loyalty to USMA. In fact, one of my fish buddies is an instructor at USNA, so I have more personal ties with them than with USMA or USAFA.
