The under 30 set might not be big enough to elect Ogump singlehandedly, but you still supported him by a large margin and added to his mandate (and might even have given him his margin of victory). And the point still stands--you can't accuse other generations of stealing from future taxpayers when your own generation overwhelmingly endorsed that same policy. Well, you can, but you'll look like a hack.
I sadly agree with this. We did vote for Obama, or sat out and let him get elected which is just as bad. And the vast majority of those who didn't vote for him just voted for the other guy who was going to steal the same amounts. While a few of us individuals may support liberty, the idea that our generation does is laughable.

Not really, perhaps you are confusing apathy and ignorance with morality?

Well they've been indoctrinated by the previous generation to think that liberty isn't really a good thing. I see a lot more libertarian types in my age group and younger.

That's an ecnouraging sign. But I'm concerned, based on voting behavior, that you don't know a representative sample

It;s a helluva lot easier to judge morality in hindsight.

What we do may be judged by past generations as extremely immoral, but it may be the current social norm. Morality changes, but is relative.

I used to agree but I'm afraid my perception was only skewed by the large # of libertarians on this board. The poll numbers from November make me think I was wrong.

Morality has to do with social norms, and is relative to time and place. No one seems to understand this.

Has morality improved over time? What period of "time" are you using? Morality has no doubt improved over the history of man. The last 20 years? It could be debated.

Since 1992, crime rates have decreased.

I would say that the obvious answer is yes
Does that mean you're insane? The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics (entropy) would suggest that morality moves toward chaos over time. I believe this to be true.

Well, I think "morality" is subjective but, IMO, it has improved.

What does entropy have to do with morality? Statistics prove that morality has improved
