I predicted that this would happen a couple of years ago. It was clear when Crist was governor of Florida that he was not a conservative, and his actions since have made it clear that he has been long heading in the direction of making this announcement. How he got elected Florida governor in the first place is beyond me.

What a loser. Nothing more than a political whore. If there's anything that both conservatives and liberals hate, it's political opportunists like Crist.

Not so. The Left will utilize him as the useful idiot that he is. When he is no longer useful, the Left will discard him. As such, Crist must work diligently to remain useful to the Left. He can do this by attacking Repubs on all fronts and with great energy.
Once his bolt is shot, he will no longer be useful, and he will be discarded by the Left into the ash-heap of history.
