Well, it would be if this guy was actually going to be like a real OC rather than cleaning the skid marks out of Malzahn's underwear.

Still, I would put Crowton above all others.

We had a worse OC just last year, Gus will be the playcaller here. Rhett knows his system the best though besides him.

This was pretty much the perfect hire. It's his protege that runs his offense. There will be no tension between them and they both have the same goals in mind. Lashlee can just bring his own thoughts into the conversations on how to run the offense with Malzahn.

Personally, I like it.

Are you stupid? Why would any offensive coach hire an experienced/accomplished offensive coordinator
