I really like the pelican nickname and am not so childish as to think a nickname has to be intimidating. How intimidating is a nickname anyway? At least it's not one of those half-assed names like Krewe, Heat, Wild, Galaxy or other non-plural crap.

That's hilarious. Once you get over the fact that the full name doesn't exactly roll off your tongue, it is pretty awesome. That proposed logo would instantly be one of the best in the league.
