Guys, I'm aware of UT's limitations the same as any of you. But I also realize that the right coach could overcome all that, and thrive.
UT has the facilities. Better overall facilities, in fact, than anyone else in this conference. And maybe any other conference.
They have the support. Both in terms of fans and rich boosters.
They are literally one man away from being back. The right man at head coach.
I fully believe all the issues Tennessee is having hiring a head coach have more to do with AD Dave Hart and a lot less to do with any built-in limitations.

I don't agree with this. In the arms race, I think all the schools with better player access (the six 10-win teams) are now fully invested.
If a good coach comes to Knoxville and orchestrates improvements that would make UT stand out relative its rivals, I think Saban, Miles, etc., would react swiftly and their schools would heed the call.
All of the hotbed schools realize the gold mine they have in their FB programs. They are willing to go blow-for-blow with anybody in facilities, hirings, etc.
