It's going to get worse. They just told my wife at General mills that another 1000 are getting laid off. They just laid off 1000 in July. I have a feeling this will be happening elsewhere.

I completely agree, as the Gallup numbers are for the actual month of November, whereas the BLS number is for the period from mid-October through mid-November. Gallup rarely agrees with the BLS number, which is indeed being released early tomorrow morning. They (Gallup) use a different measurement than BLS does.
