IDK Uncle Glass..I love Campbells soup when I'm sick. It's probably some kind of Pavlov's conditioning from when I was kid and got 7up and chicken noodle soup shoved down my throat, but mmm mm it's homey and makes me feel swell.

That's the very reason why I asked you about browning the meat before you put it in the gumbo the other day..Murdering Andouille. My Laplace folk would be sad.

Andouille and fresh sausage from Don's Supermarket in Reserve. That's what I used for my last gumbo.

how about the sausage being cooked so much it looks like deer droppings before he puts it in .. the sausage is pre-cooked and will finish/heat in the pot with the rest of the gumbo and will take on the flavor of the gumbo ..
i regret not being on that night .. and some of the people congratulating him are people that he trolls on there ... it had to be pointed out at the end of carson's thread this morning after the crappy comment he made in that thread AFTER that masterpiece ..

I have four teenagers (two boys and two girls with the metabolisms of boys). I have to cook huge amounts when all the kids are home so I stick to classics that 50s stay at home moms could cook cheaply.
