It depends on how much strain he applied to his joints. I basically went from a runt to a big guy in a 2 year span. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to my ortho who was trying to minimize my work in the weight room. Davis' physique did not really seem overly muscular during his growth spurt, which should reduce damage to his growth plates.
