Of course, win games and nobody gives a shite what you call yourself, and the arena is packed.
What is your feeling about instead of New Orleans Hornets, the suggestion of Louisiana Pelicans?

they went with pelicans to give the state itself more ownership. it's not like the sole new orleans fan base is going to keep the seats filled.
and we had this pretty cook pelican that rode in on the back of our boat the last fishing trip we took in cabo. dude kept looking down in the live bait well and looking up at my dad with a look that said "come on. hook a pelican up."

Pelicans are badass.
I like New Orleans Hurricanes, but I know I'll take a lot of shite for saying it. Don't care, it's a badass name, reminds people of Pat O's, and conjures up a badass team.
Or even La. Hurricanes. There's been talk of making it more of a state team, not regional, like you said, to give the state ownership.
