There is a whole lot of lame / weird goin on. The "brother" tells us that he has been in West Africa...cool I guess, but random for a 40 second commercial. And I am pretty sure they have coffee in Africa.

The girl who answers the door greets him by saying "sister" . I'm guessing its an inside joke, because their relationship is pretty damn flirty for a real brother and sister. Mom was about 5 seconds away from walking into some nastyness.

Also I wanted to call his parents out for sleeping in instead of picking him up from the air port, but it was a douche move on his part to arrive on Christmas morning. Could he have not found a flight the day before? They knew he was coming so it's not like he surprised them. What a POS.

Pretty creepy / lame all around.

Broham - "What are you doing?"

SisSis - "You're my present this year."

bow chicka wow wow!

and lol at Folgers preground out of a plastic container being what he calls "real" coffee.

I also agree that its a little stupid to act like you can't get coffee in Africa.

Holy crap that commercial is weird.

Yea, if the parents wouldn't have walked in, I'm pretty sure they were gonna get freaky on that kitchen counter.

If the parents had just waited a minute or two longer before appearing downstairs, this commercial could've had a very different ending...?

Definitely Taboo creepy script.

"I must have the wrong house." (Obviously implying she's all grows up)

How long has this dude been away?

"I've waited all night up for you?"

Uhh, okay? Why exactly?

"Ahh, Real coffee"

(Ethiopia is the birthplace of the Arabica tree)

Ending stares - creepy as hell.

Great. The ONE true currency I could still count on in this bankrupt world was a wholesome f#%king Folgers commercial. Sad thing is I'm only half joking.

I always wonder about the coors light commercial where the guy is in an ice cave and finds a coors in the ice and then comes out of the ice chest. At the end everyone yells at the guy for sitting on the ice chest but it wouldn't have hurt the cave guy because he probably went back down in the ice cave and even if he wanted to come out he could have just knocked on the bottom of the ice chest. Yes I'm definitely over analyzing that one but it didn't make sense to me when I saw it

Ha. This commercial is like 20 years old. And I love how the parents don't wake up until the smell of Folgers fills the house.

I always bitch about this as well. What shitty parents.

And the look he gives his little sister when she puts the bow on him? Yeah, big bro was having some confused feelings about how much little sis had grown up. But can you blame him? He had been in west Africa with those saggy natives for apparently 10 years.

Yeah folgers did a good job of framing that.

The old school one with little girl and Peter is the best one.

I always thought that they were mormon. But mormons aren't allowed to drink coffee, so who knows.

I was just happy to have Folgers commercials back. Always thought they were warm and a nice picture of classic American family moments.

You just took that away from me.
