So you don't eat ranch dressing? Sucks for you.

Didn't read the thread. Mayonnaise is fricking disgusting. I have hated it my whole life and will continue to hate it. Nasty, nasty, shite............

I find that mayo takes on the flavor of whatever its in, so I'm missing how it can be disgusting unless you mean by itself. Mix mayo with some tuna and it doesn't taste like mayo.. It tastes like tuna. Make a Caesar dressing and it doesn't taste like mayo.

I consider mayo a texture changer, not a flavor changer.

Yes. I even made a thread about it on here.

If people like ranch dressing they like mayo.

Mayo is acceptable in the right circumstances, and in limited amounts. Too much is gross. I had a sandwich from Rue de la Course the other day (for the last time) and it was inedible from all the mayo on it

Maybe if mayo wasn't so overplayed and everything drenched in it it wouldn't be so on people's radar. Sandwiches are flooded in it, then we dump mounds of it in our salads, and then we fry chickens and dip it in it, and have a side order of cabbage in a bowl of it. There's just no end to the rivers of mayo. Pasta salad, chicken salad, potato salad, tuna fish, etc.

Basically nothing I order has enough mayo on it. I have to ask for more, plus a side bowl for dipping.

I love mayo. Homemade is excellent. I could eat a spoonful of mayo, but I refrain. I don't like an overabundance on a sandwich. Too much isn't a good thing.

So all of a sudden a non processed, natural occurring food such as an avacado is on the same level as a processed, oil based product such as mayo. K got it.

Mayo lover here. Miracle Whip hater.

Doesn't mean I don't love avocado.
