Looks like I will be spending a couple of days up there within the next week for work.
Recommendations appreciated. Will be with my boss (Indian vegetarian).
How to pack to bring beer home, best places for beer paradise, and brews to try and grab are much appreciated

And if you get a chance hit River North Brewery.. They are next to Coors Field near Falling Rock. They just started doing barrel aged stuff.

In Fort Collins they have alot of restaurants in the Old town area. The local brewery is New Belgium. Fat Tire ale is always a must in Colorado.

Are you looking to ship beer back or bring it with you on the plane?
The Argonaut in Denver has a great beer selection they also have bottle shipping containers on hand. The containers were kind of pricey, but all the beer arrived unharmed so it was worth it.
If I'm bringing beer back in checked luggage I'll just put each bottle in a zip lock bag, wrap it in a tshirt and put them in the middle of the suitcase.
If I'm shipping it back I'll typically ship from a FedEx Kinkos location. The employees there typically don't give a crap and will ship anything without question. If they do ask I typically just tell them it's vinegar or kitchen supplies. When I was in Denver in October it cost $27 to ship back a 12 pack of bombers to Louisiana.

Equinox Brewery is cool to visit. Tons of places to eat in old town and pretty much all have unique beer to try.
Odell is just out of town as well.
There was a pretty good place called Vincent's I believe. Spent most of the trip smashed because of the brewery hopping.
If you have time the brewery in my avi is two towns to he south of Ft Collins, in Loveland. Look up Grimm Brothers Brewhouse. Usually have a food truck or some sort each night at the taproom.
ETA: Dominic's is the name of the restaurant. Also hit Snooze in old town or breakfast. Awesome food and brew-mosa's
