Even if you do a little more, why would you always try to compare everything you do to what the other does, and down the S/O and really try to make him/her feel bad about it?

No my wife and I do equal share in our house. We really have a great marriage. I'm in love with my wife more than I was when I married her.

I don't do that to him though. It is just the nature of our relationship. I make more than him and being a nurse I have that codependent side to me as well.

Well I'm definitely not saying my wife doesn't do anything because she keeps the house clean, from top to bottom. But if I even really attempt to clean anything but the dishes she thinks I do it wrong. So I just let her do all of the cleaning, I cook, do yard work, take out the trash, and we take turns doing dishes. I think its fair, she just hates when I play Xbox/ watch sports and it pisses her off and she tells me, "you never do anything but watch football or play your stupid Xbox when you are home"  I never say anything to her when she's on Facebook for hours on top of hours

While I am definitely cognizant of all that my SO does for me (which is a LOT), sometimes she gets to thinking that I don't help out enough.
I probably don't, but with good reason IMO. I am a full-time student, and with my major I am putting in a solid 4-8 hours of class-time four days a week, another 32+ hours of studying per week, and I work 30ish hours per week. It comes out to be well over 90 hours per week that I am mentally or otherwise occupied, and my ONLY day off this entire semester was Thanksgiving.
One saving grace is that I'm able to study a bit while I'm at work. However, it doesn't keep me from being so mentally fried and underslept that I can barely remember my name sometimes. Being deployed to Iraq was significantly easier to handle than my current schedule. That being said.... Back to the books.
