I honestly know that the media is made of very stupid people so I'm not sure if they are just ignorant or dishonest in not challenging the use of a stimulus adjusted budget to reflect true year over year spending differences.

I took a look at the offer proposed by the republicans and its an empty shell just like obama's.

Its not mentioned in their letter. Who knows if that is included or not, only the house leadership. Certainly not myself, you or obama without clarification.

i agree. But then the democrats will put forward, tax cuts for the middle class. And then dare the republicans to vote against them.
the democrats have run circles around the republicans, both from a policy and politics perspective.
its not that they are in no win situation, they are actually in we will completely lose no matter what situation.

They are doing more than Obama. What is Obama's plan exactly? Post a link to his budget, any budget will do. And not his last stimulus before this one. That was garbage with an order to nationalize banks in it and pay off his fat cats he says are the boogie man.
What exactly is Obamas plan? Other than making the debt ceiling go to infinity and a stimulus and blaming others while he golfs and gets ready to go on vacation?

Unfortunately, I don't think the Whitehouse or Dems are going to take the Republican counter offer seriously until the Republicans make specific cuts to Mediacare/Medicaid/Social Security. Right now, they're just saying we'll figure it out in the future.

The pubs want to cut spending the dems want to spend. Obama has never shown any bipartisanship at all but lip service.
Obama is twisting in the wind with the twitter propaganda that Boehner will take 2K from the middle class when it is Obama that wants to increase taxes and raise the debt ceiling.
Obama brings nothing anyone wants to the table and he owns this.

I can't say I blame them on this. Obama thinks they are bluffing, has called their bluff and it appears he might have been right.

obama cleaned the republicans clock during the election, partly by using social media a lot more effectively than romney. He is trying to get his legions of robots to come out to support his agenda.

Well since ALL spending and ALL revenue originate from the house of representatives, obama is not the one that owns it. He can only sign what the house passes (outside hijinks like obamacare).
The republicans will have to put something on paper, or we go off the cliff.

Both the plans so far are a joke. Not only are the partisan hackery and vague on details but the reality is they will do jack shite about the deficit.
