It depends. Is this sex with him, sex with his friends, sex with other women for him to watch? If it's a free market issue, then it would be whatever the market is willing to pay and whether or not I'm willing to agree with the terms of the agreement.

you get everything taken care of(within reason), plus 2k
opportunity costs currently are you have to work 40-60 hours/week...pay your own way, and barely have enough to save every month
opportunity costs after legal prostitution: you'd have to get porked by 3-4 strangers a day, and still barely have 2k/month to save after all your expenses.

You're assuming this is all I would consider. In this hypothetical contract I have basically given up a year of my life and have no freedom. However, currently, regardless of the money I can save, I have my freedom and am free to come and go as I please and pursue or not pursue people and other interests. For me, it is not just about the money, but the freedom that I would have to give up. Not enough information for me to commit.

Not a convincing argument in a true sex free market.
I'm not saying that no men would have kept women. All I'm saying is that I fail to see the incentive to do so in a sex free market and that I don't think it would be done in large numbers.
I do see it done for breeding purposes, however. But this would just go back to the whole "mother of my children" concept. Men would develop a relationship with those women, and provide shelter, safety, security, family, food, etc. for them in exchange for child rearing and companionship, but sex would not be the primary purpose of that relationship. The man would seek out sexual satisfaction with other women, i.e. prostitutes, concubines, etc.

I'm assuming the prostitution being made legal doesn't mean that women are only allowed to be prostitutes. So, I would exercise any options available to me. And it could be that I choose the freedom of the streets over the aforementioned contract.

I guess it depends, what range of services are you contemplating?
I'm assuming sex services but are you including, cooking, cleaning, entertaining, decorating, home repair, lawn maintenance, etc.?
You could flip it of course. What would a woman pay for a "handy man" for a year.
