The Roll Tiders, commit homocide, tree-a-cide and sex crimes in the name of the Bear. Manipulating a schedule to their advantage is nothing to them. I wish Alleva and the rest of the athletic administration would grow a pair and make some calls to the Big-12, at least it's only Texas that get the preferred treatment there.

The building is now named for Roy F. Kramer, the SEC's sixth commissioner who retired in July 2002. During his tenure as the league's commissioner, the SEC won 85 national championships and distributed more than $654 million in revenue back to its member institutions. The 30,000 square-foot building was provided by the city of Birmingham. It was designed to house the SEC staff and accommodate the needs of the various committees, coaches and administrative groups that meet on a regular basis. From its headquarters, the SEC office certifies the eligibility of all student-athletes, manages championship events, enhances academic opportunities for student-athletes, monitors NCAA and SEC compliance, coordinates officiating assignments, negotiates television contracts, distributes conference revenue, cultivates corporate sponsorships and coordinates media and public relations efforts. In 2005, a state-of-the-art video command center was built inside the headquarters and named for the late Brad Davis, the SEC Associate Commissioner who was responsible for its development. Davis passed away on March 2, 2006. The building also features a rotunda that highlights school banners, championship pedestals and two galleries displaying the member institutions. Yep. Your going to need more than circumstantial evidence, but sometimes a lot of circumstantial evidence is enough to prove guilt.
quote:
Obviously you have the officiating bias, number of penalties and yards penalized,
Would be interested to see this. Of course, Bama is just well coached - but how far off the mean are they? Where do they stand on holding penalties compared to everyone else?
quote:
Who did what? Womack changed the schedule. Why? Sure, he's a TUAT alum, but why did he do it, what's his explanation?
All conspiracy theories aside, this really does deserve an explanation. It needs to be laid out, in clear, bullet point fashion, why this occurred. There should be a very concrete explanation, not just in general terms. We're all in it for the SEC, right? So explain it. Why didn't Georgia work on Bama's schedule this year and next? Or did I miss this explanation?

Was he in charge of bama's last second time change last year? Not that it made a difference.

The scheduling guy is a Bama grad/homer - big surprise there. The head of SEC officiating is a Bamd grad/homer - big surprise there too. We should change the name of the SEC to the ABC - All Bama Controlled.

Now, I've had the as much as anyone since about 4:00 yesterday afternoon. But in the interest of fairness, regardless of Shaw's alma mater, IMO is 100% above board and would do everything on the up and up.

Anyone know why the office was moved From Jackson to Birmingham in the first place? Know it was done around the late forties, so it probably has nothing to do with current events. It should be pretty obvious to any person that a certain level of bias is to come from an office located within a one hour drive from Tuscaloosa, but they do not even try to hide it. fricking Gumps

So what? If it comes down to Bama and LSU having one loss, LSU will win by strength of schedule in the BCS.

If we both have one loss, it comes down to won the game between us, unless Bama loses and then we have to play them again.

And they can afford a loss to us with their ludicrous conference schedule. We have no margin for error. We have to run the table with UF on our schedule.
